Who we are

Mariposa Highlands is a family-run place to stay on Penon Blanco Road in Coulterville, California, operated by Mariposa Highlands LLC. Questions about privacy: mariposahighlands@gmail.com.

What we collect when you book

To make and manage a reservation we ask for your name, email, phone number, billing address, the number of guests, your dates and any notes you add. Your reservation is stored in our property management system (Guesty).

Card details are entered into a secure payment form provided by Stripe. They go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We do not store your full card number.

What we collect when you browse

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use advertising cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to confirm and manage your stay, send arrival details, answer your questions, take payment, keep the site secure, and meet legal and tax obligations. We only send marketing email if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share what is needed with the services that run our bookings: Guesty (reservations), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). We may share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as we need them for your stay and for legal, tax and accounting reasons.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. Write to mariposahighlands@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law requires.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
